Breakfast: Peach Pecan Oatmeal Bar, Tropical Fruit Salad (280 Calories)
This was a nice little breakfast bar, full of nuts and oatmeal and fruit. Didn’t taste a lot like peach, but it was good. The tropical fruit salad (mango and pineapple) was also tasty.
Lunch: Chicken Florentine Burger, Apple Jello (530 Calories)
The chicken burger was served on a pretzel roll and it was delicious. Very flavorful, moist and filling. I really enjoyed this and wish that the “chicken sausage” tasted as good as this chicken burger. Also no sogginess in the roll at all. I think I just had a dud with the waldorf chicken sandwich last week.
The apple jello was still a bit frozen so I tried to carefully defrost it without melting the jello. Overall it was tasty. It had slices of real apple in it and had a heavy cinnamon flavor, which really added to it. Definitely another winner here!
Note: I skipped the meal plan for dinner and had home made lamb stew instead (approx. 394 calories).
