Breakfast: Greek Burrito, Chicken Sausage, Fajita Veggies (320 Calories)
The Greek Burrito was basically a wrap with scrambled eggs, spinach and feta cheese. It tasted a bit like spanikopita and was quite delicious. The fajita veggies on the side were an odd choice, but I still ate them. The chicken “sausage” (they should call it a meat ball) was like the last one – dry and flavorless.
This meal was ok, but I could have done without the sides.
Lunch: Tomato Pesto Meltover, Apple Cake (420 Calories)
The meltover was basically pita bread with slices of tomato, pesto and cheese. It was tasty, almost like pizza. The apple cake was also moist and tasty. The only problem was, they really didn’t go together very well. Next time I have this meal, I’ll separate the two and eat the meltover for lunch and save the apple cake for a mid-afternoon snack instead.
Note: I skipped the prepared dinner again and went out with my husband where we shared some tapas and drinks at one of our favorite clubs. We ate anti-pasti, salmon pate, roasted shishito peppers and deviled eggs. Calories? anyone’s guess! LOL
